Surface Mount Lock Cassette Kit to Suit Assa Abloy EL560 Series Electrically controlled locks

The Surface Mount Lock Cassette Kit is available in powder coated Mild Steel or powder coated Stainless Steel.  The Kit is perfect for surface mounting the EL16 & EL56 Series locks with 55mm or 65mm back-set on to escape routes where the ability to use a mortice lock is not possible and for sites looking to comply with EN179, EN1125 or EN13637 system wide, across all doors.

The Heavy duty lock cassette is universal for both Left hand and Right Hand doors.  The removable mounting plates on both the Cassette and Keep offers quick and easy switch of direction.  For ease of installation the lock cassette kit also includes packers to allow for minor alterations instantly on site to make for the perfect alignment.  (Additional packers are available upon request.)

The Kit also includes a Large Shroud to remove the ability for individuals to attempt to open the door from the secure side of the door if mounted on gates.

The Kit comprises of the following items

  • 1 x Lock Cassette
  • 1 x Lock Keep
  • 1 x Anti-Grab Surround
  • 1 x Secure Plate and Barrel cowl
  • 1 x 5mm Spacer Plate
  • 5 x 1mm Spacer Plates
  • Nuts and bolts to suit mounting
